Chloe Yates, CCC-SLP, attended James Madison University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a concentration in Public Health Education and a Minor in Medical Spanish. She received her second Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Communication Disorders and Deaf Studies. Chloe provided speech and language therapy to Pre-K through 5th grade students in West Virginia as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for 4 years. During this time, she attended Western Kentucky University online and received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019.
Chloe has experience working with children (ages 1-17) and young adults in private practice with speech sound, oral motor, language, feeding, and fluency disorders. Chloe incorporates DIR Floortime, yoga, music and movement into her therapy sessions. She is certified in performing Beckman Oral Motor and Simon Says Orofacial Myofunctional assessments and interventions. She is also a certified Talk Yoga provider. Chloe has additional training and experience helping clients use AAC to communicate their needs and ideas. She is passionate about coaching parents and caregivers on neurodiversity affirming practices and language strategies. In her free time she enjoys hiking, thrifting and trying out new restaurants with friends, family and her new puppy, Chip.
