Emily is a graduate student in her fourth semester of the Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Maryland. Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland. As a first-generation Mexican American, she has a special interest in serving the bilingual population of all ages, with other interests in AAC and PWS. She has experience providing evaluations and treatment to children, young adults, and older adults with a variety of speech and language needs in multiple settings. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, watching (horror) movies, and trying new restaurants.
