Julia Sultana, M.S., CF-SLP received her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Pennsylvania State University and her M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked with pediatric and adult populations across various settings, including schools, private practice, telehealth, UNC Health’s acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital and outpatient clinic, and as part of a multidisciplinary augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) team. She has clinical expertise in facilitating individualized interventions and administering evaluations within speech, language, and cognition.
Julia’s specific clinical interests include AAC, gestalt language processing, aphasia, cognition, pragmatics, and providing client-centered neurodiversity-affirming practices. She is passionate about developing therapeutic connections, collaborating with clients and families, and adapting herself and her clinical skills to best fit each unique client she serves. Outside of work, Julia enjoys yoga, painting, drinking tea, reading, and spending time with her friends and family!
