What Our Patients are Saying

“Taegon has been seeing Anat at Metro Speech Therapy since right before his 3rd birthday. We are very impressed with the different techniques she tries to help encourage Taegon to start speaking. We feel he’s made more progress seeing Anat 2x week over the last 3 months than he has during the first few years of his life. Anat is very patient and really takes the time to get to know your child and family. Taegon looks forward to seeing Anat and has become very fond of her, and I know the feeling is mutual.”

-Margo, mom of Taegon (3 years old, Down Syndrome)

“My husband had a stroke last Fall and had a lot of problems with word finding, memory, attention and weak tongue and lips for speaking clearly. The therapy has been so important to his recovery and was tailored to meet his needs and he has made so much progress. We appreciate all the amazing help we have been receiving.”

-Carol H.

“We have been looking for a long time since the quarantine started to find a place that offers in office therapy. Finally, we found Metro Speech. She loves loves loves her therapist to the point that the mornings that she is going there she jumps up and down from happiness. In only 1 month we see progress with her speech. We are so happy and feel very lucky to have trusted them to help our girl.”

-Milto D.

“I cannot say enough positive things about my children’s experience with Ms. Anat Sohn. My apprehensive 7 year old dramatically improved her stutter within months; while my ‘spirited’ speech-delayed three year old has begun speaking in sentences and is gaining new words every day. Most importantly, they both absolutely adore her and look forward to seeing her every single time. Her genuine warmth, kindness and patience miraculously won both of them over in record time!”

-Kristina Harsanyi

I’ve been taking my daughter to see Samantha for her tongue thrust and she has been wonderful. My daughter feels comfortable and confident when working with Samantha and has seen the progress she’s made. Because of the current restrictions and social distancing, they have moved their sessions to take place remotely via Zoom and it has been a very smooth transition.
