Occupational Therapy is recommended for individuals who have difficulty performing some of the following activities:

  • Activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, driving, self-feeding and toileting
  • Home management tasks: preparing meals, cleaning, or doing laundry, managing medication.
  • Work-related tasks: typing, writing, computer/phone use and ergonomics.

Our Occupational Therapy team also works to help strengthen the upper body as a result of a variety of neurological or orthopedic injuries. This is done through supervised exercise in our OT clinic and as part of a home exercise program.
